The Monarch ESP33 Series Submersible Sump Pump is engineered for durability and high performance in residential and light commercial applications. Designed to handle both sump drainage and effluent transfer, this versatile 1/3 HP pump is capable of passing 1/2″ spherical solids, making it a superior choice over standard clear-water sump pumps.
At the core of the ESP33 Series is a continuous-duty, “oil-free” motor housed in rugged cast iron (standard models) or corrosion-resistant thermoplastic (“P” models). This design effectively dissipates heat, extending the life of the motor even under heavy usage. With a 2-year warranty and CSA/UL approvals, the ESP33 provides peace of mind for basement protection and septic effluent management.

- Robust Motor Design: Features a 115-volt, 5.6 amp, thermal overload-protected motor. The “oil-free” design is environmentally safe and built for continuous duty operation.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Standard models feature a cast iron motor housing and pump casing for maximum heat dissipation and durability. “P” models utilize a high-quality thermoplastic motor cover and casing for corrosion resistance.
- Superior Components: Equipped with a stainless steel heat-treated shaft, permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearings, and a permanently lubricated double lip seal to prevent leaks.
- Efficient Impeller: The 5-vane reinforced polypropylene impeller includes a brass insert for stability and is designed to handle 1/2″ spherical solids without clogging.
- Versatile Discharge: Comes with a standard 1 ½” NPT discharge. A reducer bushing is included to accommodate 1 ¼” discharge piping if required.
- Switch Options: Available with automatic piggy-back mechanical float switches, vertical float switches, or in manual operation modes to suit your specific basin configuration.
