Little Giant’s 5-MD-HC magnetic drive pumps are the perfect choice for pumping aggressive, highly corrosive fluids at high pressure. This series is engineered specifically for circulating acids, alkalis, solvents, brine, plating solutions, sterile solutions, and other highly corrosive chemicals and solutions.
Able to handle fluid temperatures up to 200ºF, the rugged 5-MD-HC is operated by a thermally protected, totally enclosed, fan-cooled permanent split capacitor motor. This type of motor — along with its glass-filled Ryton volute, magnet housing, and impeller — provide added protection to your pump against harsh chemicals. Little Giant also offers a 5-MD-HC headless motor option.
