The cast gray iron casing features extra reinforcing ribs for added strength and a large capacity to ensure faster priming. Two heavy-duty sealed ball bearings guarantee smooth, long-lasting performance. Maintenance is made easy with the clean-out cover, which has wing nuts for quick removal without the need for wrenches.
A built-in check valve with threaded NPT suction inlet prevents syphoning and facilitates priming. The priming plug enables priming without removal of the discharge piping. A replaceable wear ring maintains pump efficiency over the life of the unit. The Viton / stainless steel / carbon-ceramic mechanical seal delivers reliable leak prevention under demanding conditions. The enclosed cast gray iron impeller with a two-vane design handles spherical solids up to 2″ in diameter the unique design eliminates the need for a wear plate, delivering higher efficiency.
