The Monarch WS200GAM Series Submersible Grinder Pump is a high-performance solution designed for demanding residential and light commercial sewage applications. Unlike standard sewage pumps that pass solids, this 2 HP powerhouse is equipped with a high-chrome steel cutting mechanism that shreds solids into a fine slurry, allowing for easy transport through smaller diameter discharge pipes (1 ¼” NPT).
Built for longevity and reliability, the WS Series features a rugged cast iron construction and a robust oil-filled motor. One of the standout features of the WS200GAM is its internal capacitor start design, which eliminates the need for expensive external control panels. It operates using a standard piggyback float switch, making installation straightforward and cost-effective.

- Superior Grinding Technology: Features a high chrome steel two-blade cutter with a hardness of 55 – 58 Rockwell C. The stationary cutter ring is reversible for extended service life and can be replaced without dismantling the pump.
- Robust Build: The motor and pump housing are constructed from durable cast iron. All external fasteners are made from 304 stainless steel to resist corrosion.
- Powerful Motor: Equipped with a 2 HP, single-phase, 230 Volt capacitor start oil-filled motor. It includes automatic thermal overload protection and upper/lower ball bearing construction.
- No Control Panel Required: This pump is designed to be used with a regular piggyback style float switch (rated for 2 HP 1/230V), simplifying maintenance and reducing installation costs.
- Advanced Sealing: Utilizes hard Silicon Carbide seal faces and NBR elastomers for long life and abrasion resistance.
- Impeller Design: Features a ductile iron, recessed, semi-open impeller with pump-out vanes specifically designed for mechanical seal protection.
- Shaft: Corrosion-resistant 410 Stainless Steel shaft.
- Power Cord: 20 ft., 14/3 SJTW power cord sealed at the motor housing to prevent moisture intrusion.
