The condensate overflow switch serves to prevent the pan from overflowing if the AC drain stops working properly. The switch is activated when the level of the water in the pan comes above a certain point, causing the switch mechanism to trip/float to rise. Little Giant offers in-pan and in-line condensate overflow safety switches for reliable equipment shutdown.

Overview

Little Giant’s optional condensate overflow safety switch allows for easy access and greater installation flexibility to prevent overflow flooding. These switches can also give the option to connect air-handler shutdown or activate an alarm or building automation system.

In-Line Drain Switch

Designed for use as a secondary condensate drain pan overflow detection unit, it will shut off equipment or alert users to a potential overflow condition. Easily installs directly to drain pan outlet using included 3/4” PVC drain pan fitting.

In-Pan Drain Switch
