Monarch NSPHE-300 Series Sprinkler Pump is a high-performance self-priming sprinkler pump designed for large residential properties, turf farms, and commercial irrigation applications where single-phase power is utilized. Boasting a powerful 3 HP motor, this pump bridges the gap between residential convenience and industrial durability.

Unlike the smaller S Series models, the Monarch NSPHE-300 Series Sprinkler Pump is built on a robust JM Frame motor platform. It features a heavy-duty cast gray iron impeller, exclusive to the 3 HP and 5 HP models, rather than plastic, ensuring exceptional longevity even under heavy workloads. With a high flow rate capability and strong pressure output, this pump is ideal for driving multiple sprinkler heads, long-distance water transfer, and fire protection systems.

Important Safety Note: While this is a single-phase motor, the 3 HP JM frame motor does not include built-in thermal overload protection. External overload protection must be installed in the control panel to prevent motor damage.

Can I wire the NSPHE-300 to a standard 115V outlet?

No. The Monarch NSPHE-300 is a 3 HP pump configured for 230 Volt Only single-phase power. It cannot be run on 115V.

Does the NSPHE-300 have thermal overload protection?

No. Unlike the smaller HP models, the 3 HP and 5 HP JM frame motors do not have built-in thermal overload protection. You must install external overload protection in your control box.

What is the difference between the NSPHE-300 and the NSPHE-S200?

The NSPHE-300 is a 3 HP model with a JM Frame motor and a cast iron impeller. The NSPHE-S200 is a 2 HP model with a square flange motor and a Noryl (plastic) impeller. The 300 series is built for higher durability and capacity.

What is the impeller made of in the NSPHE-300?

The NSPHE-300 features a heavy-duty Cast Gray Iron impeller, providing superior strength compared to the glass-filled Noryl impellers found in the lower horsepower models.
