Circulating highly corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents, brine, plating solutions, sterile solutions, and other fluids requires a durable pump to hold up against hazardous materials. The CK Series handles highly corrosive chemicals at elevated temperatures because of the unique materials used in its construction. These include polyvinylidene fluoride (e.g., Kynar), PTFE, carbon, ceramic and Viton parts. Little Giant’s CK Series is built to withstand harsh corrosives and abrasives without the worry of damage or destruction to the pump.
The TE-7-MD-CK 3/4 horsepower magnetic drive pump was explicitly created to handle the heavy demands of highly corrosive chemicals and solutions. It features components made of rigid polyvinylidene fluoride (e.g., Kynar), PTFE, carbon, ceramic, and Viton for long-lasting wear. The thermally protected, totally-enclosed fan-cooled split phase motor aids in safety, halting the temperature from climbing to the point where it can burn up the motor. This thermal protector will reset once the motor cools down to a safe operating temperature.
